Foundation of the OrderThe International Order of Freemasonry for Men and Women LE DROIT HUMAIN affirms the equality of men and women. By proclaiming LE DROIT HUMAIN, the Order wants all human beings throughout the world to benefit equally from social justice in a humanity organized in free and fraternal societies.
Aim of the OrderComposed of Freemasons fraternally united in their diversity, without distinction of social, ethnic, philosophical or religious order, the Order imposes upon itself, in order to achieve this goal, a ritual and symbolic method by means of which its members build their temple to the progress and perfection of humanity.

Principles of the OrderFaithful to the principle of secularism (Note from the Supreme Council: the word in French is “laîcité”) respectful of the absolute freedom of conscience of each person, the members of the Order work to concretize the principles of liberty, equality and fraternity and to achieve for all human beings the maximum moral, intellectual and spiritual development, which is the first condition of the happiness that it is possible for each individual to attain in a fraternally organized humanity. In its actions the Order aims to ensure the harmony between human beings and nature as a whole, essential for our life and that of our descendants.
Goals of the OrderThe Order professes no dogma and rejects dogmatism. Its purpose is the search for truth. Thus, in lodges, discussions and debates on societal or religious questions cannot, under any circumstance, have any other purpose than that of enlightening members, making it possible for them, through a fuller understanding, to fulfill their duties as freemasons.
